Aquila Power Catamarans, a global leader in innovative, high-quality power catamarans, is set to make a major impact at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival. Running from September 9–14, the event will see Aquila welcome visitors to four significant debuts, each showcasing the brand’s commitment to performance, comfort, and versatility.

The Cannes Yachting Festival is one of the most prestigious boat shows in the world, attracting yachting enthusiasts, industry professionals, and media from every continent. This year, Aquila will unveil the global debut of the Aquila 46 Yacht, the European debut of the Aquila 50 Yacht, and the European debut of the Aquila 42 and 46 Coupes with inboard engine packages—marking the first time this propulsion option will be available worldwide.

Global debut: Aquila 46 yacht

The all-new Aquila 46 Yacht strikes a balance between offshore performance and refined onboard living. At 14.5m LOA, it features a beam that maximises stability and space, a full-beam master suite on the main deck, and two additional en-suite guest cabins. The expansive salon connects seamlessly to the aft cockpit for social gatherings, while the flybridge provides panoramic views and shaded dining.

Powered by efficient inboard engines, the 46 Yacht delivers an impressive cruising range while maintaining fuel economy. It’s rated for offshore voyages up to 200nm, winds to Beaufort Force 8 (34–40 knots), and wave heights up to 4m, with capacity for 12 people (offshore). This makes it equally at home exploring distant coastlines or enjoying long weekends in style.

Aquila 46 Catamaran: big innovation in a more intimate package

European debut: Aquila 42 Coupe

Compact yet impressively spacious, the Aquila 42 Coupe measures 13.06m with a generous 4.85m beam, offering a single-level layout from cockpit to salon. Two luxurious private cabins, each with en-suite bathroom and separate shower, make it perfect for couples or family cruising. Wide side decks, a sheltered bow lounge, and the innovative cockpit bar window create inviting entertainment spaces.

Powered by twin Mercury outboards or, for the first time in Europe, Volvo Penta DPI inboards, the 42 Coupe benefits from Aquila’s carbon fiber Hydro Glide® Foil System for smoother, faster, and more efficient passages. It is certified for offshore cruising with up to 12 people, inshore waters with 20 people, and sheltered waters with 29 people, giving owners flexibility in where and how they cruise.

European debut: Aquila 46 Coupe

The Aquila 46 Coupe extends the coupe range with larger dimensions—14.44m LOA and a 5.46m beam—offering more interior volume, extended range, and even greater cruising comfort. Its open-plan main deck flows from the salon to a shaded aft cockpit, with wide side decks leading to a spacious foredeck lounge. Two master-calibre cabins, each with en-suite, and a galley equipped for extended voyages make it a true liveaboard option.

European debut: Aquila 50 yacht

Making its first appearance in Europe, the 15.9m Aquila 50 Yacht commands attention with its bold “Explorer” aesthetic, high freeboard, and Category A ocean-going capability. Its standard three-cabin, three-head layout includes a main-deck full-beam master suite, expansive flybridge, and panoramic salon windows. An optional fourth cabin and crew quarters expand accommodation options for private or charter use.

The 50 Yacht is rated for ocean crossings beyond 200nm, in conditions exceeding Beaufort Force 8 and waves over 4m—true bluewater territory. Twin Volvo Penta D6 380HP engines deliver a cruising speed of 18–19 knots and a top speed of 22 knots, making long passages comfortable and swift.

Alain Raas, Aquila Global Brand Director, says:

“We are thrilled to return to the Cannes Yachting Festival with such a diverse and exciting lineup. These four models demonstrate our evolution in performance, innovation, and comfort, offering owners the freedom to cruise on their own terms—whether that’s open-ocean adventure or relaxed coastal exploration.”
