Surtees Boats has always prided itself on building fishing machines that deliver serious adventures. Now the Whakatāne boatbuilder has raised the stakes with a promotion that gives new buyers a chance to win the fishing trip of a lifetime.

From 1 August through to 30 November 2025, anyone purchasing a brand-new Surtees in New Zealand or Australia — whether directly from HQ or through one of the company’s dealers — will go into the draw for a VIP prize package that combines serious fishing with classic Kiwi adventure.

Many owners and would-be owners have long dreamed of visiting the Surtees factory to see where the magic happens. This promotion offers that and more. The prize includes an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the workshop, plus a fully hosted fishing and adventure itinerary that celebrates New Zealand at its best.

The lucky winner won’t just get a quick tour and a handshake. Instead, they’ll enjoy:

  • All logistics covered, including flights, accommodation, and a rental car.

It’s a package designed to deliver the full Surtees lifestyle — fishing hard, exploring new waters, and enjoying the camaraderie that comes with the territory.
