Marcopolo Adventure Yachts debut MP10 and MP12 at boot Düsseldorf 2026

Marcopolo Adventure Yachts has completed its international debut at boot Düsseldorf 2026, unveiling two new adventure yacht models that signal a return to purposeful cruising, seaworthiness, and refined Italian design.

Led by founder Rosario Alcaro, the new brand presented its first two models, the MP10 and MP12, measuring 9.96 metres and 12.70 metres respectively. Both yachts were revealed as production ready platforms developed for real world sea conditions, balancing robust engineering with comfort and versatility.

Developed in collaboration with designer Roberto Delfanti and built at 3AF Shipyard in Villafranca Tirrena near Messina, the MP10 and MP12 reflect a deliberate shift away from the floating villa trend, instead prioritising exploration, usability, and confidence offshore.

“At a time when many boats prioritise appearance over function, Marcopolo was created to rediscover the true essence of cruising,” said Rosario Alcaro. “Adventure, seaworthiness, and freedom of movement guided every decision, while remaining faithful to Italian design values.”

Both models introduced a distinctive visual identity, defined by a reverse windshield and assertive, almost military inspired lines that communicate strength and capability. Beneath the surface, each hull was engineered using CFD analysis and stepped geometry to deliver balance, efficiency, and control. The MP10 features a double step hull, while the MP12 adopts a triple step configuration to enhance stability and performance across a wide speed range.

High power outboard propulsion was integrated within dedicated structural frames, improving safety and handling. Fold down bulwarks were fitted as standard on both models, expanding the aft deck and increasing usable space at anchor or underway. Construction incorporated advanced materials, including recycled PET cores and honeycomb polypropylene, reducing weight without compromising strength.

Designed for global use, the MP10 and MP12 were presented as suitable for a wide range of operating environments, from the Mediterranean and Northern Europe to the United States and inland waters. Both models are available in open and cruiser configurations, supporting different ownership profiles and cruising styles.

The MP10 accommodates up to 12 people and focuses on social, spontaneous boating, with a large open bow and flexible interior layouts. The MP12 extends that concept, welcoming up to 14 guests with two cabins, four berths, and systems intended for longer range use and extended time aboard.

With its debut now complete, Marcopolo Adventure Yachts has established its position as a new entrant in the adventure yacht segment, combining technical capability, Italian design, and a clear focus on the experience of being at sea.
