DAVCO, OceanPower bring marine cranes to Asia

Written by

DAVCO, a manufacturer of advanced tender and personal watercraft management solutions, has formed a strategic alliance with Oceanpower Marine Systems to distribute its military-grade hydraulic marine cranes across Asia.

Since 2007, Oceanpower has supplied marine equipment to shipbuilders, owners, and management companies, along with commissioning, inspection, and maintenance services.

With four offices across Asia, Oceanpower will support DAVCO’s expansion into commercial and military markets. The partnership is already underway, with five of an initial 11 cranes delivered and operating on regional police patrol boats.

George Geros, CEO of DAVCO, said Oceanpower’s regional network will improve service capability and reduce downtime for customers. Ken Lam, Managing Director of Oceanpower, added that DAVCO’s durable, high-performance solutions meet the needs of commercial, law enforcement, and leisure clients.
