Slovenia’s Greenline Yachts is putting the finishing touches to its new Greenline 50, with the first hull deep into the build process ahead of a planned launch in Portorož later this summer.
The new 50-footer succeeds the Greenline 48, a model that spent more than a decade as one of the yard’s strongest performers. Larger and more refined than the boat it replaces, the Greenline 50 is aimed at the same cruising market while introducing updated accommodation, expanded deck space and a choice of hybrid or diesel propulsion.
“I am very proud to be so close to launching the new Greenline 50,” said Greenline Yachts owner Vladimir Zinchenko. “It has always been part of our philosophy to build timeless boats on a robust, proven technical platform, so that each model has a long lifespan. The launch of a new model is therefore a rare occurrence at Greenline Yachts, and the occasion of mixed emotions as we bid farewell to a familiar friend. However, we have done a fantastic job with the Greenline 50, and I am certain that she will still form a key part of our range in a decade’s time.”
Below decks, the yacht retains a flexible three-cabin layout, with each cabin configurable as either twin or double accommodation and up to three bathrooms. The saloon and cockpit share a single-level floor, creating an uninterrupted living space, while generous all-round glazing fills the interior with natural light. Buyers will also have a broader choice of interior materials, finishes and onboard equipment than on previous models.
A redesigned aft deck gives owners the option of either a large storage area for a tender and water toys or a dedicated crew cabin. When configured for storage, the entire aft seating section hinges open to provide easy access from the bathing platform. Choosing the crew cabin instead creates standing headroom below, accessed through the port-side transom door.

The first example is being completed as a flybridge model, featuring an upper helm, lounge seating, dining table, plus a wet bar and integrated fridge. Together with the onboard battery bank and solar panels, hotel systems can operate silently on electric power for extended periods, depending on conditions, while Greenline’s 6G hybrid drive or efficient diesel engines provide propulsion.
“Greenline’s new models are proving to be a real success story,” said Alessandro Lorenzon, Global Business Director and Chief Experience Officer at Greenline Yachts. “They have introduced a new awareness of the way spaces on board add value to the boating experience and spurred us to ever greater efforts in terms of interior finish. It was high time that our mid-range boat received this treatment, and so the Greenline 50 was born.”
The Greenline 50 joins the Greenline 45 and Greenline 58 in the builder’s current range, continuing the company’s focus on practical long-range cruising with flexible layouts and hybrid-ready technology.
