Spanish team Los Gallos secured their first win of the 2026 SailGP season at the Canada Sail Grand Prix, narrowly defeating the Artemis SailGP Team in a four-boat final. Driver Diego Botín credited the victory to the team’s growing confidence and momentum. Brutal wind conditions challenged the fleet throughout the event. Los Gallos fought through a competitive qualifying stage before coming from behind in the final to secure victory. The result moves Los Gallos into a tie for second place in the overall championship standings, behind the Bonds Flying Roos. www.sailgp.com
