Zeelander delivers Zeelander 5 to Turkish owner

Written by

Dutch builder Zeelander Yachts has delivered a Zeelander 5 to a client in Turkey, the boat’s first placement in the Mediterranean. Built at Groot-Ammers in South Holland, the 14.7m dayboat is finished in a custom metallic paint matching the owner’s car and aircraft.

The layout puts the master cabin amidships, using the full 4.2m beam, with a twin guest cabin forward. Founder Sietse Koopmans said the build followed a three-year working relationship with the owner.

The Zeelander 5 was originally unveiled at Cannes in 2021 as a successor to the yard’s 2008 Z44.
