As the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup Preliminary Regatta starts in Naples this week, the integration with the city by the teams and event organisers continues at pace and is highlighted by the participation of the Cup community in its support of the ‘Una Serata di Stelle per PUPI’ – a charity event taking place on Saturday, September 26, at 21:00 CEST in Piazza del Plebiscito, supporting the P.U.P.I. Foundation’s mission to promote inclusion, education and growth for young people through sport.
The involvement of senior team members and America’s Cup executives underscores the shared commitment between the world’s oldest and most prestigious sailing competition and the P.U.P.I. Foundation, founded by Javier Zanetti and Paula de la Fuente, to use sport as a powerful driver of social impact.

The event will raise funds for the Foundation’s programme ‘Lo Sport ci Rende Uguali,’ which provides educational and recreational opportunities for children aged 6 to 17. Part of the proceeds will also support six local associations across Naples working daily to promote inclusion, wellbeing and youth development through sport.
By joining the evening, the America’s Cup reinforces its dedication to the city of Naples and its communities, celebrating the values of teamwork, resilience and opportunity that define both sailing and the P.U.P.I. Foundation’s work.
