SeaLegs AI is now available across all of New Zealand, delivering AI-powered marine weather forecasts and fishing intelligence from the Far North to Fiordland and the Chatham Islands.
Instead of leaving boaties to interpret weather charts, SeaLegs AI provides a simple Go, Caution, or No-Go recommendation based on the specific vessel being used, whether it’s a powerboat, yacht, catamaran, sport fisher or kayak.

The platform combines multiple global weather models, including ECMWF and GFS, analysing wind, gusts, swell, wave period, visibility and forecast confidence to provide vessel-specific guidance. Users can access:
TripCast for route-specific forecasts and safety assessments.
SpotCast for multi-day forecasts at a specific fishing or boating location.

For anglers, DeepCast delivers detailed ocean analysis using sea-surface temperature, chlorophyll, currents, eddies, thermal fronts and bathymetry to identify productive fishing areas and target species.
SeaLegs AI is available on the App Store, Google Play and the web. A free tier is offered, with subscriptions and individual DeepCast fishing reports starting from NZ$9.49.
