ARCO Marine’s Zeus Omega Alternator Control System is a revolutionary charging platform that simplifies alternator installation, control and expansion.
The system uses a Zeus Omega Alternator Drive Module (ADM) mounted at the alternator, a Control Module near the battery, and a single communication cable between them. By eliminating complex multi-wire harnesses, installation is faster, layouts are cleaner, and troubleshooting is easier.
Its patent-pending distributed control architecture allows one controller to manage multiple ADMs over a communication network. As power demands grow, users can simply add ADMs and communication cables without needing additional regulators, while retaining centralised control.
Zeus Omega also introduces new technologies to improve reliability and ease of use. Auto Engine Run Detect automatically starts charging when the engine is running and shuts charging down if the alternator stops turning. Emergency Charging Mode provides backup charging if communication between modules is lost, while Alternator Rotor Protection helps improve long-term durability.
Designed for modern electrical systems, Zeus Omega supports 12V, 24V, 36V and 48V charging platforms and integrates with Victron DVCC, NMEA 2000, RV-C, CZone and smart battery management systems. Native Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity via AZ Cloud enables configuration, updates, monitoring and diagnostics through the ARCO Zeus app.
The Zeus Omega Alternator Control System is available through Lusty and Blundell’s Albany, Whangarei and Tauranga showrooms, and its nationwide network of marine dealers.
