North Sails has added notable sailors Tom Dodson and Bianca Cook to its sales force.

After a long career in sailing spanning two Olympic Games, numerous America’s Cup cycles and everything in between, Tom Dodson has rejoined North Sails as a Sales Expert focussing on the vibrant superyacht segment.

Dodson first joined North Sails New Zealand as Managing Partner back in 1986, before joining Team New Zealand in 1998. He became President of Southern Spars in 2004. As a professional in the sport, he retained his connection with North Sails and now brings his wealth of experience back to the company.

Based in New Zealand, Dodson will work with superyacht owners and crews around the world, including at regattas in the Caribbean and Mediterranean, ahead of the expected influx to the Pacific in time for the 2021 America’s Cup in Auckland. Talented sailor Bianca Cook will focus on the local New Zealand market. Bianca is a well-known and hugely respected sailor with a boatbuilding background.

She has over 100,000 offshore miles to her credit, including the 2017-18 Volvo Ocean Race and the last Rolex Sydney to Hobart Race.

Bianca will help the North Sails team to deliver unrivalled, premium customer service and work to ensure the company stays at the forefront of innovation and performance.
