Wynyard Quarter welcomes new marine retail strip

Wynyard Quarter welcomes new Beaumont Street marine retail strip inside luxury apartment development.
.
In the heart of Auckland’s fastest growing waterfront community, Willis Bond’s 30 Madden development has taken shape and become home to 150 new residents inside a lush urban city oasis, mere metres from the Viaduct and Westhaven.

The prestigious address in Wynyard Quarter has also made way for destination retailers on Daldy Street and a new marine retail strip on Beaumont Street, within two-minutes walking distance of Westhaven Marina and opposite Orams Marine Services.

Developer Willis Bond has built over 300 high-end apartments in the precinct, with 30 Madden bringing residents even closer to the water with exquisite views and amenity to match.

“The apartments in the building sold out prior to construction completion which is a huge testament to the team involved and the quality of design,” says Commercial Property Manager Amber Whittaker.

“A lot of the residents who purchased at 30 Madden are keen boaties and were attracted to the lifestyle on offer for them here in Wynyard Quarter. It’s for this reason we carved out a clear retail strategy for our Beaumont Street retail, to attract premium marine tenants.”

Willis Bond have already secured a number of destination retailers for their Daldy Street retail offerings, including Luxe & Duke, Paperswan Bride, and Caci Clinic. With construction of the Beaumont Street units now complete they’re thrilled to confirm their first tenant as a premium yacht broker with a clear view to secure other like-minded marine businesses for the remaining 6 units.

“We’re really proud to bring these units to market and offer a unique premium experience for marine retailers” says Whittaker.

Retail units on Beaumont Street range in sizes from 87–175sqm.
