From Victory to Vision: What’s Next for the America’s Cup and Emirates Team New Zealand

Just days after securing victory in the 37th America’s Cup, CEO Grant Dalton outlined the team’s vision for the future. He highlighted the importance of expanding the event’s global audience and engagement across new regions and demographics. The success of the 2024 America’s Cup in Barcelona, which featured innovations such as the Puig Women’s America’s Cup, the Unicredit Youth America’s Cup, and sustainable hydrogen-powered chase boats, signals exciting possibilities for the next iteration.

Dalton also touched on the potential for the 38th America’s Cup to be hosted in multiple venues, allowing for even greater expansion, more teams, and increased commercial growth—building on the popularity seen during the 37th edition, which attracted 2.56 million attendees over 59 days.
