Kiwi racer Conrad Colman took a delayed start, but a good start for Conrad after a quick fix.
After noticing that his propeller was badly furled for sailing just a few minutes before setting off, he had to deal with the situation before officially crossing the start line of this 10th Vendée Globe.
It wasn’t the start he’d hoped for but Conrad remains optimistic while the fleet is still tightly bunched in front of Les Sables d’Olonne, in very light airs: “It won’t be my best start, but it doesn’t matter: I love to hunt!”
