We are very excited to announce the winners of the Swirly World book competition you read about last week.
Melissa from Devonport and Tony who has yet to confirm his location, both won one of our review copies of the book.
We have also arranged a third copy of the book – as I randomly picked the winner, we drew Tony, and then Andrew Fagan won the second book. I sent an email to Andrew Fagan, telling him how funny it was that he had won his own book, and that we would keep it and do another draw as he most likely had plenty of copies to read! Well, after informing the book’s publicist that we had selected the winner (and the Andrew Fagan story), she talked to Andrew and came back to me – actually, there are TWO Andrew Fagan’s. The one living in Kerikeri is not the author of the book, but rather a gentleman who has been involved in the marine world his whole like – no singing, no books.
Anyway, to cut a long story short, the author Andrew sent us another copy so that we could make things right with the winner Andrew.
