Raymarine has unveiled a new technology upgrade that enhances compatibility with Seakeeper, bringing a suite of practical benefits to boaters. This integration, announced at the end of last month, enables smoother operation for both new installations and retrofits, ensuring a seamless connection between Raymarine and Seakeeper systems.

A key highlight of this advancement is Raymarine’s YachtSense gateway, which now allows boaters to remotely activate a Seakeeper gyro via the Raymarine App. This means the gyro can spool up before stepping aboard, reducing prep time and ensuring immediate stabilization for a more comfortable experience from the moment the vessel is in use.

“We are excited to work with the team at Seakeeper to bring innovative new solutions to Raymarine and Seakeeper customers,” said Michelle Hildyard, Vice President of Operations at Raymarine. “Seakeeper has worked closely with our engineers to integrate our industry-leading technologies, making boating easier and more enjoyable. The ability to operate a Seakeeper directly from our YachtSense gateway simplifies the user experience and sets the stage for further technological advancements.”

Seakeeper Chief Commercial Officer Will Cimino echoed the enthusiasm, highlighting the impact of their stabilization systems:

“There’s a reason we say, ‘once you feel it, you’ll never boat without it.’ Seakeeper is a must-have for boaters, leading the industry in stabilization technology. We’re thrilled to work with companies like Raymarine that invest in our shared customers by delivering greater connectivity and functionality onboard.”

This new integration is available exclusively for boats factory-equipped with Raymarine’s YachtSense digital-switching solution. Boaters interested in leveraging this technology should contact an authorized installer or Raymarine’s customer service team to confirm their vessel’s compatibility.
