The Reef to Rock eFoil race took place on Saturday, 1 March 2025, marking New Zealand’s first official eFoil racing competition. The 8km course from Mission Bay challenged participants with reefs, rocks, and offshore conditions in the Waitematā Harbour. Designed for intermediate and advanced riders, everyone enjoyed their time out on the water. With no entry fee, the race combined competition with community spirit, attracting both social and competitive riders.

The riders are keen to repeat it again soon, celebrating the growth of New Zealand’s eFoil scene.
