Magnitude 6 earthquakes strikes Vanuatu Islands region

An earthquake of magnitude 6 struck Vanuatu Islands region, the German Research Centre for Geosciences (GFZ) said on Tuesday.

The quake was at a depth of 10km, GFZ said.

The US Tsunami Warning System says the quake has not triggered a tsunami warning.
