Welcome aboard Concept, a beautiful triple skin kauri yacht that has recently returned from a summer trip to Abel Tasman. She was designed and built by Chris Robertson for himself and his family and launched in 1980. Concept is a fast-sailing boat with beautiful lines, a real head turner!
She has had a major refit over the past 2 years; her teak decks have been sanded and re-caulked, the standing rigging replaced, new cutlass bearing, new main sail and 2.5-year-old jib, all new through-hulls, new VHF, new head and plumbing and she is ready to go. Concept has a double v berth forward, 2 saloon berths, and 1 (could be 2) single quarter berths. She is powered by a reliable 20hp buhk, has a fully equipped galley and would make an ideal coastal cruiser.
