Simrad® software update delivers exclusive Lenco™ Pro Control™ integration for enhanced stability and control

Simrad Marine Electronics has released its latest 2.3 software update, introducing the first exclusive integration of Lenco™ Pro Control™ with select Simrad® multifunction displays powered by the NEON™ operating system. The update is available for NSX®, NSX ULTRAWIDE and NSS® 4 displays, delivering a new level of stability, comfort and ease of use at the helm.

The update reinforces Simrad’s focus on simple, intuitive helm control. Built around the NEON™ platform, the new software presents a clean, streamlined interface that makes advanced trim and stability features easier to access and operate while underway.

At the centre of the release is Lenco Pro Control™ Auto, an automatic levelling system that continuously adjusts trim tabs to compensate for changing sea states, passenger movement and load distribution. The system delivers hands-free stability management, keeping the boat level while improving comfort and confidence for both skipper and passengers.

Simrad Lenco Pro Control Integration

Boaters Benefit

Simrad’s Marine Electronics 2.3 software update introduces exclusive Lenco Pro Control integration for select displays powered by the NEON OS, including NSX, NSX Ultrawide, and NSS 4. The update simplifies helm control with an intuitive interface for both automatic and manual trim tab adjustment. Pro Control Auto provides continuous levelling for a smoother ride; Pro Control Assist allows direct manual control from the display. Updates are available via the Simrad companion app, Wi-Fi, or the Simrad website.

Independent testing shows Pro Control Auto delivers a 74 percent improvement in auto-levelling performance, with results up to 25 percent better than the leading interceptor system. Additional benefits include near-instant trim adjustments through a refined control algorithm, improved hole-shot performance for faster planing, and a 24 percent reduction in re-entry impact for a smoother ride at speed.

For boaters who prefer manual input, Pro Control™ Assist is also fully integrated into supported Simrad displays. Trim tabs can be controlled directly from the screen, allowing flexible helm layouts. Physical keypads can be mounted anywhere, or removed entirely for a clean, modern dash.

The 2.3 software update is available now. Users can download updates via the Simrad companion app, directly over Wi-Fi, or from the Simrad website using an SD card.
