CTEK launches RB Boosters for boats and vehicles

CTEK’s new RB 3000 and RB 4000 portable boosters are designed to ensure boaties and vehicle owners can get underway, regardless of battery condition.

Built with CTEK’s Swedish engineering DNA, the RB Boosters deliver compact, high-output starting power for 12V lead-acid batteries, making them ideal for boats, cars, campervans and off-road vehicles. Whether it is a weekend launch ramp hiccup or a flat battery after time on the mooring, the RB range provides a simple, portable solution.

The RB 3000 can deliver up to 30 restarts on a single charge, while the more powerful RB 4000 offers up to 45 restarts before recharging. Both units are compatible with most common 12V lead-acid battery types, including WET, AGM, EFB and GEL.

Safety remains central to the design. Spark-proof technology and reverse polarity protection reduce the risk of incorrect connection, providing added confidence when boosting in tight engine bays or onboard installations. Clear status indicators make operation straightforward, even in low light.

Beyond jump starting, the RB Boosters double as versatile power banks. Integrated USB-A and USB-C ports allow users to recharge phones, tablets and other electronics, an essential feature for extended boating trips or roadside emergencies. A built-in LED flashlight with three modes further enhances practicality, offering illumination when working in confined spaces or signalling for assistance.

Each unit is supplied with booster clamps, a storage bag, user guide and a two-year warranty.

Compact enough to stow in a cockpit locker, glovebox or under-seat compartment, the RB 3000 and RB 4000 provide reliable starting power without relying on another vessel or vehicle.

The CTEK RB Boosters are available in New Zealand through Lusty & Blundell.
