Integrel E Power 15/30 Series brings generator free power to modern powerboats

The Integrel E Power 15/30kW series offers a new approach to onboard energy generation for modern powerboats, replacing traditional standalone generators with a system that harnesses surplus energy directly from the engine.

Designed to work through the engine’s power take off (PTO), the Integrel system converts otherwise unused engine capacity into electrical power. The E Power 15 SE model delivers up to 15kW of electrical output from a single engine installation of up to 1000hp, while the E Power 30 DE configuration can produce 30kW when installed on twin engine vessels with engines up to 1000hp each.

The system is compatible with engines ranging from 150hp through to 1000hp, making it suitable for a wide range of modern powerboats.

By drawing power directly from the propulsion engines while underway, the Integrel system can remove the need for a separate generator. This approach reduces onboard noise and vibration while also lowering fuel consumption and emissions compared with traditional generator setups.

The system operates automatically and integrates with modern onboard electrical systems, providing power for everything from air conditioning and refrigeration to navigation electronics and entertainment systems. The result is a quieter onboard experience while maintaining the energy demands expected from contemporary cruising boats.

Because the system eliminates the need for a standalone genset, it can also free up valuable space in the engine room and reduce overall onboard weight. This makes it suitable for both new builds and retrofit installations.

For boat owners seeking greater onboard energy independence without the noise and complexity of a conventional generator, the Integrel E Power 15/30 series presents an alternative solution designed around efficiency and simplicity.

The Integrel E Power range is available in New Zealand through Sopac.
