Clare Buoyant is a Birdsall Gulf 30. Clare Buoyant is a Birdsall Gulf 30. She was designed by Beau Birdsall and built by Holland Yachts in 1979.

She is very well known in the Wellington harbour racing scene. Clare Buoyant would make a great first boat for anyone keen to get into racing, or coastal cruising, because she is extremely easy and forgiving to sail. The owner of Clare Buoyant had the mast and standing rigging replaced 5 years ago, so there is no need to worry about re-rigging, and the sails are all in good condition ranging from 10 – 5 years old.
