Bar Crusher co-founder Peter Cleland awarded BIAV Life Membership

Peter Cleland has been awarded Life Membership of the Boating Industry Association of Victoria (BIAV), with the honour presented at the 2026 BIAV AGM and endorsed unanimously by the Board.

As co-founder of Bar Crusher Boats, Peter was instrumental in building one of Australia’s most respected aluminium plate-boat manufacturers, growing the brand to significant national reach over his 25 years of ownership from 1999 to 2024. Beyond his commercial contribution, he has been a long-standing BIAV Board member and remains an active contributor to the Advocacy Committee, dedicating decades to advancing outcomes for the boatbuilding sector and the wider boating community.
