Sydney-based importer Eyachts has been appointed the exclusive Australian and New Zealand dealer for VanDutch Yachts, bringing the Dutch-designed powerboat brand to local buyers through a new dedicated showroom, VanDutch Centre Sydney.
A VanDutch 56 is already en route to Victoria, joining a number of VanDutch models already in service across Australian waters. Through the dealership, Eyachts will handle sales, after-sales support and technical servicing across both countries.
VanDutch Yachts built its international profile on a distinctive low-slung profile and pared-back design sensibility, pairing performance with an onboard experience aimed squarely at lifestyle-driven owners. The brand traces its origins to the Netherlands, where that aesthetic was first developed.
A significant shift came in 2020 when Italian shipyard Cantiere del Pardo acquired VanDutch Yachts, folding the brand’s design identity into a manufacturing operation with decades of build experience. The boats that have followed retain the original look while benefiting from Italian production standards and engineering depth.
Eyachts has been the Australasian importer for Cantiere del Pardo’s Pardo Yachts range since 2019, making the VanDutch appointment a natural extension of an existing shipyard relationship.
Eyachts founder Peter Hrones says the move follows the same logic that underpinned the Pardo Yachts launch: “Our success with Cantiere del Pardo and Pardo Yachts has shown what is possible when you combine strong shipyard relationships with the right market strategy. VanDutch is the next step in that evolution for us in Australia and New Zealand.”
Marcello Veronesi, CEO of Cantiere del Pardo, says the decision to extend Eyachts’ remit was straightforward: “They have demonstrated a deep understanding of the Australian market with Pardo Yachts. We are pleased to extend their representation to include VanDutch in the region.”
Eyachts positions itself as a specialist importer focused on a curated group of European brands, and VanDutch slots into that model with an established global following and a look that requires little explanation at a boat show.
Joe Fox, Eyachts VanDutch Manager, says the brand reflects where the premium end of the Australian and New Zealand market is heading: “VanDutch represents exactly where we see premium boating heading in Australia, toward experience-focused ownership. It is more than a boat; it is a statement of lifestyle and aesthetic.”
Eyachts will exhibit at the Sanctuary Cove International Boat Show from 21 to 24 May 2026, where the VanDutch range will be on display.
