C-MAP’s Embark App has been renamed the C-MAP: Boating App, bringing it further in line with the brand’s portfolio of charting products.
The app is free to download and offers the user access to a range of charting and features, free of charge and with a free trial of Premium features, which can be accessed on phone, tablet or computer.
The app boasts improvements to charting, a new measure distance tool and search by coordinate tool, alongside its current popular auto-routing, personal waypoints, routes and tracks features.
Its marine weather forecast has also been updated, with users able to discover the moon phase for an upcoming fishing or sailing trip and view weather conditions along their route.
In partnership with Navily, the app now lists thousands more destinations and includes additional information on amenities available, VHF channel, telephone number, quantity of berths, draft, length, and photos and reviews from users.
