Investment to support Hikoterra’s growth

Written by

Hikoterra, a New Zealand based innovator in mobile integrated power solutions, announced an investment from private equity and venture capital investor John Clifford to support company growth, including expanded engineering talent and accelerated development of next-generation marine power solutions.

Clifford brings extensive renewable energy and investment experience, with leadership roles across more than 100 private equity transactions. He is Chairman of Virescent Ventures and Relectrify and a former professional at 3i and Rothschild.

HikoTerra launched in late 2025 with its H4 Hybrid Power System, a fully integrated, battery-first solution offering superior efficiency, scalability, and ease of installation, setting a new standard for onboard marine and mobile power.

The establishment of a global distribution and service network is underway – the H4 will be available mid-2026, covered by a two-year warranty.
