Raymarine’s new RCU-1 Wireless Autopilot Remote Control is a handheld, waterproof ‘Point & Go’ remote that provides simple one-handed wireless control of Evolution autopilots. Connecting via Bluetooth through the WG-1 Wireless Gateway and the vessel’s NMEA 2000/SeaTalk NG network, it offers up to 30 metres of range for operation from almost anywhere on board.
Designed for both power and sail boats, the RCU-1 features a bright colour display, dedicated autopilot controls, and practical functions for short-handed boating. Key features include Point & Go course setting, allowing skippers to change course by pointing the remote in the desired direction, and Solo Sailor safety mode, which automatically turns the boat into the wind if a wearer-overboard event is detected.
Additional features include customisable NMEA 2000 data pages, battery-saving functionality, and IPX7 waterproof construction. Compatible with Evolution autopilots fitted with a WG-1 Wireless Gateway, the RCU-1 is available through Lusty & Blundell showrooms and authorised marine dealers nationwide.
