The new Oceanis 42 marks 40 years for the Oceanis range and reaffirms Beneteau’s commitment to French craftsmanship. The Oceanis 42 is the successor to the Oceanis 40.1, with simplified onboard systems, improved ergonomics and enhanced reliability.

The Oceanis 42 offers 12% more cockpit space than her predecessor with 10% more seating area. Two configurations are available: an open version where the swim platform becomes a natural extension of the cockpit and a closed version with aft seating. The Oceanis 42 offers excellent stability under sail, a balanced helm feel, and efficiency on every point of sail. Inside, the atmosphere is elegant, contemporary and refined. The saloon is spacious and includes a desk, a bookshelf integrated into the mast bulkhead, and a dedicated cabinet for electrical controls. The L-shaped galley offers 215 litres of refrigeration capacity, The Oceanis 42 is offered in five different layout configurations with either an L-shaped or a longitudinal galley.
