Two new Caribbean models headlined the 2026 Melbourne Boat Show as the iconic Australian brand returned to the spotlight.

Designed by renowned boat builder and Maritimo founder Bill Barry-Cotter, the new Caribbean 40 Flybridge Cruiser (40F) and Caribbean 27 Flybridge (27F) debuted to strong international acclaim at the 2026 Sanctuary Cove Boat Show.

Founded in Melbourne in 1958, Caribbean has built a reputation for offshore performance, quality and lasting appeal. The new 40F and 27F carry that heritage forward with modern engineering, technology and design.

Visitors were able to explore both models, which combine Caribbean’s proven deep-V hull and offshore pedigree with contemporary layouts, greater comfort and family-friendly versatility, at Docklands in October.

Caribbean 40F Flybridge Cruiser: A versatile cruiser designed for offshore fishing, cruising and recreation, featuring a spacious cockpit, extended range, refined interior and customisation options.

Caribbean 27F Flybridge: A compact offshore performer that continues Caribbean’s fishing heritage, powered by twin 300hp outboards.

Sean Savage, Director of Distribution for Maritimo and Caribbean, said the Melbourne show was an important milestone for the first Caribbean models designed and built by Maritimo.

“It was incredibly satisfying to bring the 40F and 27F to Melbourne, the brand’s strongest market. We’ve preserved Caribbean’s DNA while introducing modern comforts and amenities, building on a proud legacy for a new generation of boaters.”
