Demand for Smuggler Marine’s range of amphibious boats and inflatable RIBs surged during and after the highly successful Hutchwilco New Zealand Boat Show.

In one of its most successful shows ever, Smuggler Marine took seven orders for a wide range of models.

With confirmed sales from the boat show, Smuggler currently has 10 Strata 800 amphibious models on order, as well as over a dozen other RIB models between five and seven metres long.

“The boat show was fantastic for us, with record levels of enquiry and confirmed sales. We’re experiencing significant sales growth, not only in our larger amphibious boat range, but across the range,” says Smuggler Marine Managing Director, David Pringle, adding that sales for amphibious Smugglers currently outnumber sales of non-amphibious RIBs by three to one.

With surging sales growth, Smuggler Marine is looking to bolster production at its Henderson facility.
