TWPG GAINS FORMER NAVY CHIEF

TRANS-TASMAN tactical watercraft manufacturer The Whiskey Project Group (TWPG) has appointed former Chief of Navy, Rear Admiral John Martin as the company’s Strategic Adviser. His role is to support business growth across Pacific markets.  

John Martin’s appointment adds to TWPG’s New Zealand capabilities in cutting-edge small boat design, including wholly-owned subsidiary, NAiAD.

TWPG has also appointed of former Nelson Harbourmaster Andrew Hogg, also a navy veteran,  to  the role of General Manager at Naiad, based in Picton.

Mr Martin is a Wellington based Strategy Consultant and independent director. He retired as  Chief of Navy in 2018 after a naval career of four decades, where he led all Defence Force capability development, including cyber, electronic warfare, intelligence, space, intelligence, and command and control.
