World Cat is one of the largest manufacturers of offshore sports fishing catamarans.

The US company manufactures boats that compete directly with other upmarket offshore fishing boats like Grady-White and Boston Whaler, but World Cat offers the advantages of a better ride, improved stability and much more deck space. World Cat has a large range of boats from 23’ to 40’ (7m to 12.2m) in both centre console (CC) and dual console (DC) configurations.

The boat featured is the World Cat 325CC, a new model for the company. It showcases numerous enhancements and improved aesthetics, such as a removable transom seating arrangement, increased insulated storage and upgraded styling. This model provides unmatched performance with offshore range all on a stable, proven catamaran platform.

The 325CC is reasonably economical, burning 65L per hour at 25 knots fast cruise, but with a top speed of 43 knots when you need to get home in a hurry.

Family Boats has been selling World Cat for 17 years, sending them all over the Pacific, and now stocking them in New Zealand. Family Boats currently has six World Cats on order, four of which are sold, including a 400CC X that was just delivered to Fiji.

Packages of the World Cat 325CC start at $650,000.

This boat will be released at the Hutchwilco Boat show in May.
