Aquila Power Catamarans has just won the ‘Multihull of the Year’ in the powerboat category for its innovative Aquila 36. This award follows the prestigious Christofle Yacht Style Award in January.
Launched at the 2017 Miami Boat Show, the Aquila 36 is designed to be a luxury weekend family boat, but it also makes a great oceangoing fishing boat, dive boat, cocktail cruiser or passenger vessel with seating capacity for 20 guests.
NZ Boat Sales Aquila Sales Manager Steve Thomas says “we’re enjoying great success with the Aquila brand in New Zealand following on from a very strong introduction into the Australian market. We have sold two Aquila 44 powercats into Auckland in the past 12 months. We are very excited to see the new 36 winning awards worldwide, and with the new Aquila 30 model being introduced later this year, we’re sure to be very busy!”
The Aquila 44 will be on display at the Auckland On Water Boat Show in September. Contact NZ Boat Sales for a personalised VIP tour.
