B&G HAS BEEN announced as a Technical Supplier of SailGP, a global championship setting out to redefine sailing. B&G has a 60-year tradition of providing racing technology for global sailing competitions such as the Volvo Ocean Race and America’s Cup.

SailGP is an annual, global sports championship featuring six national teams going head-to-head in the fastest racing boats in the world, culminating with a $1 million winner-takes-all match race.

Teams compete in intense short-format racing with identical, supercharged F50 foiling catamarans capable of speeds exceeding 50 knots.

B&G was selected to contribute to SailGP with sensors, chartplotters, radars and communication devices. The equipment will enhance performance of the F50s and help SailGP calibrate the elements, supervise courses and take safety measures.
