TimeZero is a powerful marine navigation platform developed by MaxSea, part of the Furuno group, designed for boaters who want precision, integration, and professional-level tools at the helm. Available in two main editions — TZ Navigator for recreational and semi-pro users, and TZ Professional for commercial operators — TimeZero delivers high-performance charting with a clean, intuitive interface.

With support for official LINZ RNC and ENC charts, TimeZero gives New Zealand skippers the confidence of navigating with certified, up-to-date hydrographic data. The software’s 3D chart view blends satellite imagery, bathymetric data, and vector charts into a realistic seascape, while weather routing tools allow you to plan safe, efficient passages using GRIB forecasts.

When paired with Furuno hardware, TimeZero becomes a central command station — overlaying radar returns, AIS targets, and sonar data directly onto the chart. Commercial fishers value the Personal Bathymetric Generation (PBG) feature, which builds high-resolution seabed maps from your own sounder logs in real time.

Whether you’re running a gamefishing launch out of Whakatāne, a cruising yacht to the islands, or a commercial longliner in the Southern Ocean, TimeZero offers the speed, accuracy, and integration to keep you in control.

Key features:

  • Works with official NZ LINZ charts (RNC and ENC)
  • 2D and 3D chart display with satellite photo overlay
  • Integrated weather routing and tidal data
  • Radar, AIS, and sonar overlay when connected to Furuno systems
  • PBG seabed mapping for fishing and survey work
  • Available for Windows PCs and iPad
