SPECIAL NOTES
New Listing

Designed by Vince & Richard Lazarra and built by Gulf Star Yachts, Duet is a true blue water cruiser, having completed over 10,000 nautical miles across the US East Coast, Bahamas, Caribbean and Pacific, including a successful passage from Panama to Brisbane. This solid GRP vessel (22 gross tons) features a “sea-easy” deep fin keel hull that parts waves with ease and maintains momentum even in choppy conditions. Despite her heavy displacement, she sails smoothly in winds over 10 knots, assisted by a short 56 ft mast (from waterline) that helps her remain comfortably upright.

Powered by a reliable 75 hp Yanmar turbo engine (2011) with only 2,068 hours and supported by a 9.5 kW Kubota generator (approx. 1,900 hours), Duet is self-sufficient for extended cruising. She carries approx.

165 gallons of diesel (flexible bladder tank), 450 gallons of fresh water and features a water maker and 40 L hot water system. The interior is practical and spacious, accommodating up to seven. Layout includes V-berth for two, convertible double in the saloon, single berth to starboard, and a queen berth in the private aft cabin with ensuite head and shower.

A separate companionway provides private access to the aft cabin. A drop-down saloon adds to her versatility. Comfort includes reverse cycle air conditioning with three units (v-berth, saloon and aft cabin), two large top-loading refrigeration boxes (one with freezer), and a dedicated large freezer.

Sails and rigging are in excellent condition: new high-end genoa (2021), standing rigging and chainplates replaced (2018), and a well-maintained 2013 main sail. A scuba compressor, full set of tools and spares are also included. Topsides were painted in 2017 and the hull in 2024.

Duet is ready for her next offshore adventure. Enquire about this yacht
