Step aboard ILLICO, a brand-new 2024 Rapido 40 that redefines performance cruising. Designed by the esteemed Morrelli & Melvin and expertly crafted by TRIAC Composites, this state-of-the-art trimaran combines speed, seaworthiness, and comfort in a sleek, lightweight package. Launched in December 2024 and currently located in Phuket, ILLICO boasts a light displacement of just 5,200 kg and an advanced carbon rig, making her exceptionally responsive under sail.

Her high-spec GPL Liteskin sail plan, (J1, J3, and a 170 m² A-sail), is paired with a rotating carbon mast, bowsprit, daggerboard keel, and textile standing rigging, ensuring unmatched performance across a wide range of conditions. The expansive deck layout features a single tiller that can be controlled from either side of the boat for optimal visibility and control, while her wide beam offers both enhanced stability and generous interior space. Below, ILLICO presents a modern, airy layout with two double cabins, a convertible saloon with over 2m headroom, and a well-equipped galley featuring induction cooking, Vitrifrigo drawer refrigeration, and a large stainless steel sink.

The single head includes an electric Sanimarin toilet and hot water shower. Designed for extended cruising, she comes fully equipped with a Spectra watermaker (31 L/h), 4 x 100W solar panels, Lithium 400 Amp house batteries, Mastervolt inverter/charger, 240V shore power, and a 15L hot water system. Navigation and communication are handled by a premium B&G suite, including a 12″ Zeus 3 chartplotter, HALO20+ radar, autopilot with remote, GPS, AIS, and VHF with wireless handset.

On deck, she offers electric winches, folding cleats, an electric windlass with cockpit control, deck shower and wash, and a TRUE KIT 300 tender with Suzuki 6HP outboard. Safety gear includes a Viking 4-man life raft, EPIRB, and full mooring equipment. Coppercoat antifouling was professionally applied in December 2024.

Registered in San Marino (tax not paid) and showing only 280 hours on her Yanmar 40 HP engine, ILLICO presents an exceptional opportunity to acquire a new, turn-key Rapido 40 without the wait. Contact us today for more information and embark on your new adventure. While the yacht is currently in Southeast Asia, delivery can be arranged worldwide upon request*, including Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and the United States.

Thanks to her location, she is ideally positioned for efficient international shipping, offering a cost-effective alternative to ordering a new build. Upon request, we are pleased to provide free, no-obligation shipping quotations to any destination worldwide. ILLICO is the perfect choice for sailors seeking a high-performance, proven bluewater trimaran, ready to sail anywhere your next adventure calls.
