Being both a boat builder and sailor gives Marine Surveyor James Newcombe a distinct advantage when it comes to understanding what to look for when conducting Pre Purchase Inspections, Surveys and Pre Insurance Surveys.

His C.V reads impressively; following his completion of a Trade certificate in Yacht and Boat Building he has been involved in the construction, modification and repair of many types of vessels; from custom built wooden launches, work on the QE2, superyachts and ocean going racers his knowledge and range of experience is vast. James also holds an IIMS Diploma in Marine Surveying. James will travel to all regions to conduct surveys as required and no travel charges at all apply to surveys carried out in the Auckland and Bay of Plenty Regions.
