VHF RE-IMAGINED

Vesper Marine’s Cortex is the world’s first VHF radio with wireless touchscreen handsets, a built-in Class B SOTDMA smartAIS transponder and remote vessel monitoring.

Cortex includes dual-watch, favourite channels and one-handed operation via the click-wheel.

The dedicated MOB button activates a track back mode on all handsets (up to 10) and marks the waypoint on NMEA 2000 connected multi-function displays (MFDs).

Vesper Marine’s smartAIS technology combines navigation sensor data with intelligent alarm management that prioritises alerts.

Basic monitoring using cellular connectivity is free while a Cortex Monitor Premium subscription unlocks real-time vessel status, alerts and device control for boat systems. Cortex Onboard and Cortex Monitor apps are available for iOS and Android with new features and capabilities downloaded automatically via WiFi. Cortex integrates with leading marine MFDs, sharing AIS positioning information and boat sensors.
