LIFTING THE LID

The latest addition to the range of tough, practical and affordable access hatches is a black option. Black hatches are a solution to the increasing use of darker custom finishes by boatbuilders. They give an aesthetically-pleasing and visually harmonious installation.

The 4000 Series hatches open 180 degrees so when closed the lid completely covers the mounting flange, concealing fastenings and deflecting water away from the hatch seal. The seal ensures weatherproofing when the hatch is mounted flat on horizontal and vertical surfaces. Made in New Zealand for over 30 years and CE approved,

So-Pac access hatches are moulded with an ASA-grade plastic that is stronger than ABS and far more UV resistant – they won’t discolour or become brittle, unlike hatches made from inferior plastics. The first choice for trailer and custom boatbuilders, these easy-to-install rectangular hatches are available in small, medium and large in white, dream white (USA only), light grey, dark grey and black.
