Long range powercat

Whangaparaoa’s Catamarans International is nearing completion of a 20m long-range catamaran.

The vessel will displace 30 tonnes and is designed for 500-600hp engines giving 18-22 knots cruise and 26-28 knots top speed. Adding foils will improve speeds by 2-3 knots. Able to carry 4000 litres of fuel and 1200 litres of freshwater, this is a true bluewater cruising vessel.

Constructed to survey standards, the boat will be finished to watertight stage pending its sale.
