RINA approval for Optimus 5000

Written by

Dometic’s Vancouver facility has received RINA (Royal Institute of Naval Architects) Approval and Certification for its Optimus 5000 Electronic Power Steering System (EPS).

RINA Services S.p.A, based in Genova, Italy, is one of the world’s oldest internationally recognised ship classification organisations. The approval opens the door for growth in yachting and commercial marine markets for Dometic and has already resulted in the first customer order.

Dometic Optimus 5000 EPS is an advanced steering system engineered for inboard vessels ranging from 12 to 30-plus metres in length.
