Gold Coast, Australia—New Zealander’s with an appropriate work visa may find the apprenticeship of their dreams with renowned luxury yacht manufacturer, Riviera.

Riviera Australia is offering an exciting opportunity to the next generation of marine craftsmen and craftswomen, as it launches its latest round of apprenticeship programmes. The initiative, aimed at fostering young talent within the marine industry, underscores Riviera’s commitment to nurturing skilled tradespeople essential to the continued growth and innovation of the Australasian boating sector.

Based on the picturesque Gold Coast, Riviera has long represented excellence in yacht manufacturing. The apprenticeships, which span four years, offer participants the chance to learn from some of the industry’s most experienced professionals. The programme not only covers practical, on-the-job training but also incorporates theoretical learning, providing a well-rounded education in marine craftsmanship.

During the four-year course, apprentices will gain invaluable experience working on the construction of Riviera’s iconic yachts, famed for their elegance, performance, and superior craftsmanship. The company’s commitment to quality extends to its training programmes, which are designed to equip young tradespeople with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in their chosen fields.

In addition to technical training, Riviera’s apprentices are given the opportunity to develop broader workplace skills, such as teamwork, problem-solving, and project management, ensuring they are well-prepared for the demands of the modern workforce.

To provide prospective apprentices with a comprehensive understanding of the opportunities available, Riviera recently hosted an information evening at its Gold Coast headquarters. The event saw a significant turnout, with attendees eager to learn more about what a future at Riviera could hold. Current apprentices and Riviera’s experienced mentors were on hand to share insights and experiences, offering a glimpse into the vibrant, supportive community that underpins the company’s success.

Riviera’s Managing Director, Wes Moxey, expressed his enthusiasm for the new intake, highlighting the vital role apprenticeships play in sustaining the company’s high standards and innovative edge. “We’re incredibly proud of the training and development opportunities we provide here at Riviera,” Moxey said. “Our apprentices are the future of our business, and we are committed to giving them the best possible start to their careers.”
