At a maximum, there were short periods of five to six knots of breeze for the duration of the allocated times today. Svea, Rainbow and Velsheda were on the water and ready for action, but the wind speed was too light, so just after 4pm Barcelona time the race officer sent the J-Class yachts back to the dock.

The forecast for Tuesday is very promising. The winds due to be up to 18 or 19 knots, the program is to run two races, which should be a great showcase for the J Class yachts if the breeze does arrive as expected. The first warning signal is planned for 1pm Barcelona time.
