It is a nice day today in Barcelona, the Sun is out and during the afternoon we will hit 20°.
Now the less great bits: the wind will get to about 5.3 knots during the afternoon — that’s not enough for a decent race for either the AC40s or the J-Series Yachts which are both racing today. Hopefully, the unpredictable winds off Barcelona have proven just this week that they will do what they want, the forecast doesn’t matter.
And the swell! We will have about a 1-metre swell, that will have a big impact on the AC40’s, it’s a great deal harder to pilot these with a swell of this level.
