Crews from Mubadala Brazil, Germany, the United States, ROCKWOOL Racing, Switzerland, and Emirates GBR have been spotted honing their skills on their cutting-edge catamarans, while Canada and Italy have utilised other teams’ F50s to get in some valuable training time.

A Historic Start For SailGP’s Most Expansive Season

This year marks a significant milestone for SailGP, with the season promising at least 13 events spanning five continents—a true celebration of global sailing. The action kicks off on 23-24 November against the stunning backdrop of Dubai, featuring two new teams, Italy and Mubadala Brazil, making their competitive debuts on the starting line.

Off-Season Shake-Ups: Transfers And Changes

The off-season has brought notable changes to team lineups, injecting a fresh layer of intrigue into this season’s battles. Emirates GBR sees Dylan Fletcher take the helm as driver, following the departure of Giles Scott to Team Canada. Kiwi flight controller Andy Maloney has also switched allegiances, joining Mubadala Brazil.
