Celestial V70 reaches the Iron Pot, Wild Thing 100 not far behind Updated now finished

As today’s (28 December) dawn broke over Hobart Harbour, the Volvo 70 Celestial V70, helmed by Sam Haynes of New South Wales, crossed the line with a race time of 01:16:10:2015.6. Haynes and his crew reached the Iron Pot, officially completing the race at 05:10:20 AM.

Trailing closely behind is the 100-footer Wild Thing 100, skippered by Grant Wharington and Adrian Seiffert from Queensland. Wild Thing 100 is expected to secure its position shortly, bringing an exciting close to the battle for podium placements.
