NZ Composites GRX Arma PET

Written by

NZ Composites is introducing Armacell’s ArmaPET Struct GRX, to replace the currently stocked GR grade as existing stock depletes.

The new GRX grade offers the following improvements: Optimised resin uptake improves the sandwich panel’s weight and cost; excellent thermal and dimensional stability; superior fatigue resistance for long-term performance and reduced lifetime maintenance; and 100% recycled material that supports industry environmental and sustainability requirements.

The ArmaPET Struct GRX range features a more homogenous, finer cell structure and improved shear properties. ArmaPET Struct GRX has comparable or higher mechanical performance compared to the current GR grade, especially in shear properties, where it provides an increase of up to 30%. Resin uptake with the new GRX grade will reduce resin usage by up to 60%.
