Fliteboard RACE sets new benchmark for high speed eFoiling

Written by

Flite has lifted the lid on its most extreme eFoil yet, unveiling the Fliteboard RACE in collaboration with Mercury Racing at CES 2026 in Las Vegas.

Built unapologetically for speed, RACE is aimed squarely at confident riders and competitive eFoilers chasing outright performance. At its heart is a custom Mercury Racing impeller, designed to spin harder and faster, pushing the board to a claimed 34mph, or 30 knots. In eFoil terms, that is serious pace.

RACE is also the first Fliteboard to run FLITELab surf foiling wings, using the new Flux range. Three wing sizes allow riders to tune the setup, offering stability when needed and control when pushing hard. The result is a board that rewards commitment rather than easing riders along.

The shape tells the same story. A longer, narrower profile improves takeoff and touchdown response, while an elevated mast helps manage speed and handling at the top end. Motorsport inspired detailing, including carbon Innegra accents and clean aerodynamic lines, reinforces that this is a purpose built race machine rather than a lifestyle toy.

Flite is also extending the performance focus into its digital ecosystem. Upcoming Flite App upgrades will introduce G force and lean angle data, along with a new global APEX 250 leaderboard, a 250 metre out and back sprint designed to test speed and precision.

For Flite and Mercury Racing, RACE represents more than a new product. It signals a clear push towards structured competition and high performance riding in electric foiling, a space that is moving fast and showing no signs of slowing.
